Getting to Nougayrede Bas
- By car, most of the mileage from the channel ports can be covered by Autoroute, which makes for a speedy and relaxing drive, with navigation kept to a minimum.
- The A20 Autoroute from Paris has an exit at Cahors, and from Cahors Nougayrede Bas lies about 16 miles to the SW.
- From Dieppe, Le Havre or St Malo, the house can be reached in an easy day's driving
- ... and from Calais (ferry or tunnel) or Boulogne after a longer day's drive
- Toulouse & Bordeaux, airports are both within 1½ - 2 hours by Autoroute. Bergerac & Rodez airports are reached by country roads. Between them they offer many flights a day from Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and UK regional airports.
- Trains run to Cahors from the Gare d'Austerlitz in Paris. The TGV express train runs from Lille to Agen (1.5 hours from Nougayrede Bas).
